Make sure you’re able to ollie consistently. If you can already ollie 2-3 decks, you’re set.

I would consider moving (slowly) while learning kickflips. It makes everything easier in the long run.

1. Place your back foot in a regular ollie position, about 2-3 inches behind the front bolts.
2. Pop your board with force. (This will allow for a nice catch)
3. Instead of dragging your foot straight up to the bolts as you would to ollie, Drag your foot in a diagonal motion towards the concave in the nose of your board
4. when you reach the concave, flick your foot in an outward and simi downward motion. At this point, your board should flip.
5. Tuck your knees for maximum “hang time”
6. Catch and ride away..
